ActionDash 3.0 adds focus mode, app limits, Usage Assistant & much more
Since ActionDash’s launch, by far the most requested features have been related to specifying app usage limits. Ask and you shall receive, because ActionDash 3.0 introduces three key new app usage limit related features!

🆕 Focus mode
Google announced at I/O its plans to bring a new “focus mode” feature to P & Q devices later in the year. ActionDash 3.0 brings focus mode to all Android devices, today. 🎉

Once you’ve configured your focus mode apps, engaging focus mode is as simple as enabling its quick settings tile. When focus mode is enabled, ActionDash will prevent any attempts to use a focus mode app.
🆕 App usage limits
ActionDash 3.0 allows you to set daily limits on a per-app basis.

🆕 Usage Assistant (beta)
Usage Assistant is an intelligent, ever-present notification that provides live and contextual device usage stats.

As if focus mode, app usage limits and Usage Assistant weren’t enough, ActionDash 3.0 also refines the app’s look in key ways.
Enhanced theme support
- 🆕 A new fully black Dark theme.
- 🆕 Full support for Q’s Dark theme system toggle.
- 🆕 The dark grey Dark theme, previously a premium feature, is available to Plus and non-Plus users alike.

Refined look
ActionDash now matches the latest material theming guidelines by displaying content beneath the navigation bar, and also adds links to the new app usage limit features on the app landing page.

A better digital wellbeing app
We’re biased, but we feel the 3.0 update sees ActionDash graduate from its beginnings as a helpful device usage visualizer utility into Android’s deepest, most feature-filled, customizable and privacy-conscious digital wellbeing app. We hope you agree!
