Pick the Pixel style Google search box, or build your own!

This week’s Google hardware keynote saw the introduction of a redesigned Pixel Launcher, which notably moves the Google search box from its historical top placement down to the dock.

With today’s v29.0 update, Action Launcher gains the ability to use the Pixel 2-style dock search box. Even better, not only do you get to use this feature today, on your device, but with Action Launcher’s Quickbar editor, you can customize the color, shape and shortcuts of the search box as you see fit, allowing you to make this search box yours.

The Quickbar editor allows full customization of the search box

In addition to the dock search box, the v29.0 update also sees key enhancements to Action Launcher’s ever popular Quickbar, including the ability to use the “G” style Google logos and customize the search box’s corner radius to get that round look.

Action Launcher v29.0 continues to build on the numerous major updates of late that have brought enhanced implementations of Oreo and Pixel’s features to devices running Lollipop or later.
